My Practice
My practice is organisational anthropology.
Studying the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of people in organisational ecosystems, gives form to fresh thinking and new perspectives. I use this to influence the shaping of cultures of complex organisations in a fast paced rapidly changing world.
I work with senior leaders who are navigating complex institutional environments and recognise the value of independent, thoughtful and trusted challenge. My work centres on helping chief executives, boards and system leaders think differently about leadership, culture and long-term institutional change. With a career spanning over three decades across health, higher education, government, and the armed forces community, I bring a rare combination of board-level governance experience, operational leadership insight, and independent research. I currently serve as a non-executive director and strategic advisor across several organisations, supporting leaders responsible for large, complex public systems and the communities they serve.

I am driven by a belief that when leaders know better they do better. When business plays an active leadership role in building a better world, communities thrive, societal problems are solved and businesses grow.
